The College library has adequate number of text books and reference materials which can be borrowed by students on production of identity card. A student can borrow two books at a time for 15 days. Books may be re-issued for another 15 days. An over due charge of Rs. 2.00 shall be imposed per day for 15 days and thereafter Rs. 5.00 per day till the date of return. The library remains open from 9.30 am. to 4 pm. on all working days. The college library has the internet facilities for students for research purpose.
Students' feed-back on teaching and learning, the conduct of courses and other related affairs are discussed for improvement of academic environment of the college.
Today's era is women's era. It is an era proclaiming equal right and human dignity to the woman around the world. If woman get united and empowered, they will be able to fight of all the oppressive forces, and move ahead with heads held high. The present day women must march forward lifting the society to a new height of development. They should be made aware of their self-dignity, and esteemed position and potentiality in society. With this aim in sight women study centre has been opened in the college. The women Study Centre publishing a book ‘THE WICK’ yearly for uplift of the women creativity.
It was started in 19th August 2012 for the moral and spiritual development of the students of the college. The college’s moral and spiritual study circle was registered with the registration no. Kam (M)/263.C/578 of 2012-13 dated 07/02/2013 under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860. Dr. Nurul Islam is the Secretary of the Circle.
The NSS Unit was formed in the college in 2015 with 100 active students volunteers for giving the students adequate space and scope for imbibing a sense of social responsibilities through the various programs. The Principal of the college Dr. Sikhamoni. Konwar is the chairperson and Dr. Nurul Islam, HOD. Dept. Of Philosophy is the programme officer of the unit.
It was formed in the college in 2016 to involve the students in social service and to develop the sense of social service which will help them to become a good citizen of nation. Mr. Biju Rajkhowa, Asst. Prof., Dept of Assamese and Mr. Rajab Ali, Asst. Prof., Dept. of philosophy are the Rover leaders of the unit.
The college has a red ribbon club to create awareness about high risk perception and preventing HIV-AIDS as well as to promote voluntary blood donation among the students.
